Our website uses SSL Security for Web Transactions
When you click Check Out, you enter a secure area of the Dextergear.com web site. Most browsers indicate security by a closed padlock or an unbroken key in your status bar.

At that point, every communication between your browser and our server is encrypted. That means your sensitive personal information -- your name, address and credit card number -- is not traveling over the Internet in an easy-to-read format. Instead, using a sophisticated encryption technique (SSL - 'Secure Sockets Layer', the industry standard encryption technology for online transactions), your browser is disguising that information and sending it to our server, which knows how to decrypt the message.

Order Confirmation
When you place an order, a confirmation of your order will be emailed to you at the email address that you gave us. Should you have any questions about your order, please email us and please include your original order number and order date in your email.

Shipping Charges
Shipping and handling for shipments within the United States are based on the merchandise total of each order shipped to a single address. For orders over 20 lbs. there may be additional shipping; however, we will notify you in advance if this is the case.

Delivery Times
All in-stock orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt and delivered within 7 business days for U.S. orders except during the peak holiday season between November 25th and December 25th. For international orders delivery time depends on the shipping method used. See International Orders for more information. Orders placed during the weekend will be processed on Monday, except for the week of 12/24/2007 through 12/30/2007 when our shipping department is closed for year end inventory.

Refused Shipments
Shipping and handling charges on refused shipments are the responsibility of the customer.

Out of Stock Items
Sometimes there may be an item that is temporarily out of stock. We try to ship these items within 7 - 14 business days. There will be no charges made until the item is available to ship.

International Orders
We use the most cost effective way to ship internationally, which includes United States Postal Service and Fed Ex. Shipping charges are based on the shipping method used, the destination of the package and the weight of the package. Each international customer will be contacted prior to processing with all shipping information. Please allow 6-8 weeks for USPS Surface, 2-4 weeks for USPS Air and 1-2 weeks for Fed Ex. Customers are responsible for all shipping, insurance and customs fees, and assume responsibility for any lost shipments to countries that do not allow us to insure packages.

Returns and Exchanges
If you are not 100% satisfied with any regular-priced item, you may return it, in re-saleable condition, within 30 days from date of purchase for a refund or replacement. We will credit original payment method less shipping and handling charges. Please contact our Customer Service Department for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number at 1-800-653-1375. A Return Merchandise form is provided on the back of your invoice/packing slip or may be downloaded below. Please allow 10-14 business days for returns to be processed.
